(new) stuff to do
i ordered these scrap kits and they came last week. i was thinking i would have a few crafty friends over for wine and we could create the books together, or maybe i will just give them away as christmas gifts, either way it was for a good cause and they were a great price. i am really pleased with the quality of the product. i think you should get one (or four) :)

in other news (haha), i got my very first ever sewing machine. i am going to learn how to sew and it is scaring me to death. is sewing math? because it feels like math.

What a cute sewing machine. I too need to learn. My mothers machine is in the garage.
The scrapkit looks like fun!

I always tell people if you can drive a car, you can sew. (press with foot, steer with hands.) Easy peasy :)

congrats for taking the plunge!

Oh, I wanna come over and play at your house! The scrap kits look great.

Sewing is pretty simple depending on what you are doing. I think reading a pattern can be the hard part. I had basic sewing skills but took a beginning class at Joann's that was great. I still consider myself to have basic skills because I don't break my machine out all that much but I'm more comfortable with the entire process. I highly recommend it!

I don't know how to sew, either. Wish I did. You must report back and tell us what it's like!

I do not sew at all, but wish I did so that I did not keep my tailor employed. I LOVE the scrapbook kits and ordered a couple as well as sent the link on, thanks!

I got my kit too. I wish I had ordered more as gifts.
I can't help you with the sewing. I only sew on paper and an occassional costume.
