workin' on a workshop
i am creating a "workshop" in our guest room. i have lots of stuff to make things, trouble is, i don't know what to make. i do some board books here and there (you can see the "e" one and the "father's day" one on the shelf), but i can't sew, so paper projects seem to be my crafting limit. i started to do my scrap wall and it is so fun, but no room for error - yikes! do you make suff? what stuff do you make?

The photos of your home are lovely! It's a wonderful thing to have a workshop or studio. I can disappear for hours in mine!
I love your pictures also.
Have you made baskets out of the twisted paper (rafia-like paper) (??) that they sell at craft stores like Michaels? I used to make them out of used tea boxes, tissue boxes, etc. You untwist the paper, then basketweave it around the box, braid a handle, then cover the inside with a remant of fabric. For a nice sturdy bottom, I would cover a cut out piece of cardboard to fit down in the bottom of the basket.
Well hello there!
Your house is just lovely. Is that a Smeg fridge you have? The post with the picture of the moon was something else.
Thank you for sharing.

I use to cut and paint wood crafts to sell in boutiques, but got too busy for that. Now it's pretty much scrapbooks and cards. Next week I am making some things for my house. I will post them on my blog when I do.
I so LOVE every picture you post...seriously!
hi cherry,
the frig is a northstar. it is from canada, i believe. :)
I love this vignette in your craft spacing. It so inspiring. It sure makes me wish I had a dedicated place to craft as I find it so much easier to be inspired when I can see my stuff.
