i want my christmas tree!
i got my stockings out last night. looking at the box of ornaments makes me want my tree up. we have a really small family room, so i wonder where we will put it. i think i will have to lose a piece of furniture to fit it in! we have always gotten our tree the day after thanksgiving, but this year it might be the day before. are you getting hungry yet?

Those stockings look fabulous -- and I want my tree too! I was just getting all of my supplies ready to make my gingerbread house. Isn't Christmas the best?

Their is a sunroom w/ a SC white denim lo armed sofa...BUT we have no guest room, and my daughter will want to have firends...Inoticed the sofa/daybed in your pic...would that work well? Can u tell me the brand and where purchased? I'm trying to make a decision asap, as seller wants to know if I want her loveseat! I also noticed one at Crate & Barrel..any opinions would be soooo appreciated...

I have the Christmas bug already. So far my dd's and ds#2's trees are up. Hopefully, tonight I will tackle Ds#1's tree. I don't turn on the lights until Thanksgiving night but I am ready!

hi beth,
i would recommend the ballards cane day bed. you can get it with or without a trundle. i love the look and it is a great price.

melissa,
the couch is from value city furniture. it was a great price, as i think it looks very similar to rachel ashwell's or pottery barn's. oprah's nate berkus says you should spend a lot on a sofa, but with a big furry dog and two small children, i just can't do it.

jolene,
"puddle of peaceful feelings", you are so cute :)

welcome shabby in the city!

meg, yes wooden shoes for st. nick's day! i will do a post about it. :)

and i will get a close-up of those stockings for you, gardengirl!

LOL! Well it's true. I love your house...I'm sure that if I was there for a visit and it was time to go home, I'd leave finger nail marks on the door frame as you were shoving me out the door saying...Jolene...you really HAVE to go home now...and I'd be begging to just stay a LITTLE longer. LOL! :o)
Happy Thanksgiving Beth! Thanks for sharing so much beauty with us. it really does make me happy...I'm honest! :o)
