A late Happy Easter! Your kitchen looks so beautiful! We were touring our state capital building yesterday and the 100 year old stairway is made of carrara marble... I immediately got a smile on my face and thought of you!! It is so beautiful! I can picture the light blue icing on cupcakes in that kitchen already!

Ohhh so pretty! I love it!!!

And to answer you question...I am terribly afraid of flying yes but I did not go to China because my youngest son could not go (health issues at the time) and my oldest son REALLY wanted to go. My hubby is a much better traveler so it all worked out for the best. I quite possibly could have done it but it would have taken MANY drugs and cocktails all the way there and bacK!

Hi Bethy - I have been reading your blog for quite a time now and really enjoying it. I can really relate to your kitchen project as I am in the starting stages of my own (the kitchen planner presents round 1 of her design next Thursday). I got quite a laugh out of one of your early blogs where you decided to paint your kitchen cabinets and nobody could believe you would want to paint over stained wood. That is what I'm dealing with too. And I'm going to paint them! I was just curious if you painted them yourselves or had professionals do it. Did you spray them or hand paint them? Latex or Oil? Any tips?
Again, love, love, love your blog...and your style. Keep up the great work

Sheila
