LOVE IT! I try to read it once a year... it is my absolute favorite book. In fact, hubby and I named our daughter after the author! Glad you enjoyed it again!
I love that book. I have just joined a book club with a girlfriend and that is the book I brought to add to our reading list. It is one of my all time favorites! Take care, Beth
That was one of my favorite books when I was in school!! I find myself picking up books my kids are reading now, more than the adult novels. I can't wait until they are old enough to read this one... I can still "feel" that courtroom at the end. Whew... great book!
I'm new to your blog and can't believe you posted about this book. After years of education that included and M.A. in English I just read To Kill A Mockingbird for the first time. I can't tell you how much I loved it, and how sad I am that Harper Lee has never written another book.
Oh and we DID name our dog Scout after the Scout in the book. Our boys wanted to name our daughter Scout...but we decided on something a little more traditional for her.

One of my very favorites. I even saw the play in Monroeville. I would love to read it again.
