looking official (and cute)
i love clipboards. i think they make you look busy, and maybe, important. my class made these today. they decoupaged them, so here they are drying. it was a fun day, but something weird happened. in the biology class next door, the students were dissecting frogs. apparently, a boy ate a frog's heart. secretively. on a dare. with all the formaldehyde and other chemical garbage in that dead creature, when i heard this, i was very concerned. he went to the doctor and we hear he will be fine. but tell your children. sometimes we just assume they know things like, don't eat laboratory frogs, but you just never know.

Oh my. I was a biology teacher, and it never once occurred to me to tell the children not to eat the frogs. (???? I have never even heard of a kid doing such a thing.)
Of course, if you told them not to do it, they would do it to be funny then.
Can't win for losing.
I don't even want to tell you what the boys in my anatomy/physiology class did senior year. I think boys turn off their brains sometimes!!! I'm glad nothing bad happened to the boy, but you really have to wonder. yuck.

I love the clipboards! What a cute project...how did you do it? I have a group underprivileged kids I volunteer with and I would love to do these with them. So gross about the frog!!

Such cute clipboards! I was actually just unpacking my craft room (we recently moved) today and have a random clipboard (plain old ugly brown) on my work desk that I unpacked and wasn't sure what to do with. You've inspired me to decoupage it with some fun paper and add some embellishments!
How gross, thats boys for you!!! I remember the smell of the mouse we had to disect in Biology many years ago....urh!!!

Gosh! i finished my graduation in pharmacy last year, n had a lot of guys in my class,who froze at the site of all those frogs n mice we had to dissect.. n here comes this little boy who eats up a frog's heart!!
