da tree! da tree!
remember fantasy island? that little guy, what was his name? tattoo? i liked him. :) he used to yell, da plane! da plane! at the beginning of every episode.
so here is my tree, boss. (that is what tattoo called mr. rork.)
i really wasn't going to show it, but everyone else is, so well, i guess it is just something you are supposed to do. maybe you can see i kind of settled on gold, cream, and greens/blues. so much for brown this year. i'm really not a gold person. but i guess i like it.
and thank you all for your comments yesterday. i know i don't always comment back, but if you leave me a little note, i do remember you, and i appreciate you, and i count you as friends. please know that.
as for fantasy island, now that i have it on my mind, i am going to have to find out how to watch an old episode of that. if i remember correctly, it was a little freaky wasn't it?

Very nice. The tree came out perfectly.
I have got to get a new topper. Ours got crushed and since then I have used a huge ribbon bow.
Merry Christmas!

so pretty!
Your tree is gorgeous. I love to see pictures of everyones trees. Thank you for sharing.
how lovely
love your tree.gold looks good with a green tree. so funny how little stuff like fantasy island sticks in your head. i love that show. i'd watch it every sat. night with my grandma. i especially loved the mermaid episode with that mamas and papas band member turned actress, can't recall her name. michelle philips maybe? never have reruns on that one. merry Christmas!
Your tree is beautiful :)
We used to watch that every Friday night, as if it was some fabulous drama or something. And of course, Lorenzo Lamas on the show before...I can't even remember what that was called??!!! Let us know if you find a rerun...I would probably laugh through the whole thing, remembering how silly it was in middle school!!!
Bethy-- I was just reading the latest post at Woolie Wanderings and she just made some wonderful little trees with yarn from Paris... I saw them and thought, "I HAVE to tell Bethy-- they are SO her!" (http://woolliemind.blogspot.com/)
you are right, bethany. loved it!
Loved Fantasy Island. I remember the little Tatoo (who kinda creeped me out now and then) would ring that bell at the top of the tower. And yes, he always called him "Boss." Did you know he died? I think he committed suicide.
A beautiful tree it is, indeed!
