laissez-faire - hands off; let it be.
lackadaisical - lacking spirit or liveliness; showing lack of interest; languid; listless.

i'm just not inspired to blog. i'm diving into my design class and i don't have time to write about the things i really want to write about! i'm going to take some time off, but i will be visiting you, you can count on that! happy back to school. :) bethy

I know what you mean, Bethy. I certainly enjoy blogging, but sometimes I simply don't have sufficient inspiration or time.

Enjoy your time off.

Lindy :)

Man do I love catching up on your blog! I can't believe that I took so long between visits! Let's blame summer vacations, even though I was only gone two weeks, ha! I love the encyclopedia idea, I can relate to your dining room, my dishes HAVE to be blue and white I LOVE THAT and I am fiercely competitive at some things too ... if I had read earlier I would have helped you, because OBVIOUSLY your cart needed to BE Uncle Sam ... in cart form! The front a beard, giant hat, long arm pointing out "We want YOU" to ... BBQ ? ha. And I loved your post about spirituality. I heard a really cool thing at church. A guest speaker said that when he hears his kids answer the phone with "He's not here" he always shouts back to them: HE LIVES. A constant reminder that our savior lives. I don't like to ram my beliefs down anyone's throats either, but I do like to share uplifting stuff. Ya know? My kids don't wear diapers on their heads (you miss them?) but we do wrap our Christmas presents in them. We call it disguise wrap!!! I bought my son an iguana because I really wanted one. Still getting comfortable in my own skin. My crown would have said: I'm just an old chunk of coal, but I'm gonna be a diamond some day! Yup. Enjoy your design class. You are already too brilliant... what on earth are they going to teach you that you don't already know? I think I might try that encyclopedia thing. maybe.
