posing
i tried to take some pictures of my children while we were visting nature's perfect backdrop. my daughter has no teeth right now, seriously, the poor thing, i don't know how she eats. and my son is going through a goofy smile phase. so trying to get two good smiles was WORK! but then i get home and upload my shots to find that it is the spontaneous things like this that become my favorites anyway. so why was i trying so hard? let kids be kids, and there's your masterpiece. :)

I love toothless smiles! My son lost both bottom and both top teeth within 3 weeks of each other. He was so dang cute........well he still is. :)
This is so perfect!
oh how cute!
I love your blog and I have been following it for some time. I love your color scheme in your house, it is so serene and welcoming. I wish I lived near you so I could pop in for a visit. Cute pictures of your kids...they look like they are having fun. By the way where did you get your pedestal coffee table..I have been coveting one for awhile and lost a bid a couple of weeks ago...I was heartbroken..anyways..thanks for posting such a fantastic blog.
Now there is a photo that truly captures the spirit of childhood!

SO very true! I tend to love the casual shots that look like 'real life' ...CUTE!
It's a perfect spontaneous picture. It captures the fun they were having. This will be a real memory photo for them in the years to come.
that is just darling! there's the christmas card.
LOL! I LOVE this shot!
This photo captures children so well! They love to play and climb. Adorable!!
Good reminder. Sometimes I hold the camera waiting for just that perfect shot - only to miss it. It's the ones that I have snapped quickly that often become my favorites.
They are adorable!! And your right, it's the unplanned shots that are the best.
