just pulled in....
last night. we had such a nice week. my children cried because they wanted to stay! i felt their pain. on the drive home i was nervous nellie and about drove my husband crazy...slow down...he's braking....watch out! life on an island with golf carts makes the real world really seem hectic. i guess i wasn't quite ready for the fast pace yet :) but here we are. and i know...you are wondering about the cart contest, right?

It IS hard to come home from such a nice vacation...last week my 4 year old son says out of the blue while in the car, "Mommy I miss Myrtle Beach." I knew he enjoyed himself, but didn't know he was still thinking about it 3 weeks after getting home. We must go back!

I am in love with your blog. I can't even remember how I ended up here. I love your decorating style.
My "colors" in previous houses have been more earth-tone, but in our next house, I want to do more of the sky, sea, and sand colors.
We are about to purchase a big victorian farmhouse, and the previous owner has already painted the walls a light sea green color. I'd like to work with the color for the rest of the house colors...so this new color scheme will be a new one for me. Your blog is very inspiring for me in this respect.
I'm writing you, because I would LOVE your opinion on what I should do with the funky cabinets that are in the new kitchen. Should I leave them? Replace them? What color to paint them? Can you email me, and then I'll send you pictures of the kitchen?? I promise I'm not a weirdo! I'm a 34 year old homeschooling mom of 5 kids who happens to LOVE decorating as much as you! :)
