i made something
this is it. my very first ever homegood. it is an oversized sham that can be removed and laundered (i think). my dear little teacher allowed me to use some antique buttons from her back closet.
i have class again tomorrow. working on my next sham. i might start a sham business.
my name is bethy, i am a seamstress.

Well done! Doesn't it feel goof to make something out of a piece of fabric? Can't wait to see what you do next!
good job! Keep sharing 'em!
Oh it looks wodnderful! If I weren't taking three sciences, I would *definitely* be taking sewing :)

And I just realized that you type without caps. Good for you. I do that also, in certain Net situations.

Yay, Bethy! You ARE a seamstress, and pretty soon you will need a 12-step program! Very good job on the pillow - you have inspired me to get it in gear making some pillows. I bought a book several months ago on pillows, and have not made one! There are so many color choices, I freeze when it is time to make a commitment.
VERY good job!
Are the pictures on your blog of your home? I adore the colors and the light airy feel. Thats really the look I would love to capture in my entire home, but for now only have it in my guest room.
Your pillow is gorgeous!
How stinking cute! You little talented seamstress you!
I love it! Great choice with the ticking fabric.
Congratulations. Very nicely done!
