hello caroline
i met two friends for lunch today at a delightful little cafe with the kind of food that makes you feel at peace with the earth. fresh, sprouty food. one friend i have known for ages, the other is a new one. she is friends with my friend. get it? sometimes that doesn't always work. different people bring out different traits in each other, so these things have been known to be awkward at times. but this meeting was not like that. it was peaceful and wonderful. these ladies are busy ladies...moms, entrepreneurs, movers and shakers. but this monday lunch was as pleasant as a lazy day on a porch swing. i felt honored they took the time to relax with me. :)

I was just reading and about to comment when I saw this pop up! What a welcome...many thanks! It was a pleasure having lunch with you too and I knew that we would hit it off because Jen adores you and I adore her. I have enjoyed browsing your blog and really loved hearing you on the radio this morning. Your faithful spirit certainly shined through the airwaves! Let's gather again soon! Blessings on your day! Caroline

That sounds like such a wonderful day! I'm glad it was for you.
Sounds as if you all enjoyed the day.
sounds fun...on the radio? do tell.
I know you mentioned you were singing loudly at the AJ concert the other night, were you discovered and now have your own radio spot? You know you have to tell us about it!
Sounds like it was a delightful afternoon.
ummm... your room is gorgeous. I know I should comment on the friends, but that is one rocking room. I love the colour of your hardwood, the trim, the french doors WITH LACE and that to-die-for green. That green, it just *works* so perfectly with everything. You have a fabulous eye.
Sounds wonderful, :)!
It sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon and what a bonus to make a new friend too.
